Manicure
A regular manicure is essential to maintain a healthy groomed appearance. A manicure is beneficial to strengthen the nails by cosmetic preparation; this is the use of nail enamel, nourishing creams and emoilent creams to keep the skin soft and supple. The treatment also prevents minor nail damage such as splits and tears, frees the cuticle and nail wall from the nail plate, while keeping the nail outline smooth and preventing infection. Included in a manicure is a hand and arm massage which aids skin improvement by helping to control wrinkling, discolouration, age pigmentation and texture.

Our luxury manicure uses the the calspa range - the manicure involves nail shape, cuticle work, exfoliation, a hand and arm massage and polish.

Pedicure
A pedicure is a very therapeutic in addition to being a practical treatment. As many of us work standing for long hours our feet suffer. Not only is a pedicure excellent for improving the appearance of the feet, but also for comfort and pain relief. Nourishing creams and emoilent creams help keep the skin soft and supple.

The treatment also prevents minor nail damage such as splits and tears, frees the cuticle and nail wall from the nail plate, while keeping the nail outline smooth and preventing infection. Hard skin can cause a lot of discomfort; by cutting nails and working on the cuticles the appearance and comfort are improved; exfoliation and removal of hard skin is performed to smooth & soften skin while easing any discomfort. A cooling mask is used to calm, relax and nourish the feet. This is followed with a relaxing foot massage, completed with polish to give beautiful feet!

Calgel
Calgel is the nail system of the future. It is a blend of organic chemical compounds that will enhance your nails safely. The gel will not affect the metabolic action of your natural nail and can be easily removed without the slightest damage or trauma to our nails.

Calgel is a proven nails strengthener, is natural looking, does not cause fungus, allows natural nails to respire and is not tested on animals. The clear calgel, when applied over natural nails will support and strengthen them while they grow.

Colour calgel offers a semi permanent nail colour that does not chip or wear off, this is great for toes as well as the hand nails. Nail extensions are applied over a clear calgel base to prevent direct contact of harsh chemicals onto the natural nail. This protects the nails from damage and trauma while giving you long natural looking nails. Calgel also enhances adhesion and durability of the tip.

Due to the gel being organic this means that the tips are not as long lasting as other false nails. The gel allows the nails to respire therefore after a period of approximately 4 weeks the gel can begin to lift and the process would be done again.
